Algorithmic Doodle Art

Follow simple algorithms and draw pictures reminiscent of nature. Play with the ideas behind cinema and game CGI (computer-generated images).

It uses an idea called recursion – where things are defined in terms of themselves. This mirrors the way in nature parts of things are often smaller versions of the whole: a branch of a tree is just a smaller but similar version of a whole tree.
